The TCD648250B, also known as the OLED TiVo or Series 3 TiVo is the first Series 3 TiVo model released in 2006 and manufactured until 2012. It came with one hard drive size, 250GB, which can store 32 hours of HD recording. It's also the first non-DirecTV model to be compatible with HDTV and also the first one to use CableCARD. The model is notable for being the only TiVo to have an OLED frontplate which displays the clock and the names of recordings that are currently being recorded. The model is also the first model compatible with THX. This TiVo was also the first to have a glow in the dark remote.
