Loopsets are the official name for animated backgrounds that play on Series 1-3 TiVos, along with early TiVo Premieres. They come in a couple of colors and are different depending on the TiVo model. Each loopset is encoded in MPEG-2 and is a loop of a few seconds worth of animation.
