DvrBARS is a Windows program by ggieseke which can backup and restore TiVo firmware. The app supports Series 1-3 TiVos along with Premieres. DvrBARS can either perform a full restore which zeroes out your hard drive then restores or a quick restore which only modifies sectors of your hard drive that needs to be modified. The tool cannot expand hard drives.
