Media File System, shortened to MFS, is the proprietary filesystem used on TiVos. There are 2 tools known to handle MFS partitions. mfstools can handle resizing, backing up, restoring, expanding, or supersizing a TiVo hard drive, and mfsutils can extract MFS assets.
